It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad ICANN
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad ICANN:
Every once in a while, ICANN pushes so far past the limits of acceptable decision-making processes that the only suitable response becomes satire. Here are three recent examples:
- Texturbation -- which looks like a new weblog -- has two recent posts on the .COM deal:
"VeriSign's .com Win Guarantees Internet Stability"
- Karl Auerbach has simplified the creation of an ICANN Strategic Plan by automating the generation of important-sounding but nonsensical ICANN-speak; and,
- Richard Sexton takes on Vint Cerf and the ICANN Board Chair's views on new gTLDs.
