Latest NewsDNRC's April Newsletter is now available. DNRC is currently looking into plans to provide a mediation and arbitration providers education service for domain name disputes. Watch this space for more information as it happens. ICANN is looking to possibly change its Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy in view of recent evidence that Complainants are using it to "forum shop" for arbitrators who are more likely to rule against the domain name holder. DNRC will keepyou updated on this. |

ICANN is also considering revamping of the "At-Large" membership, which was supposed to elect 9 of 18 Board members. Currently, they have only allowed direct election of 5 members, keeping 4 "boardsquatters" in place. DNRC fears that ICANN will find a way to disallow direct elections of the other 4 promised board seats. Details to follow.
