ICANN is looking to possibly change its Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy in view of recent evidence that Complainants are using it to "forum shop" for arbitrators who are more likely to rule against the domain name holder. ICANN is also considering revamping of the "At-Large" membership, which was supposed to elect 9 of 18 Board members. Currently, they have only allowed direct election of 5 members, keeping 4 "boardsquatters" in place. DNRC fears that ICANN will find a way to disallow direct elections of the other 4 promised board seats. Details to follow.
